Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026 · Effective immediately upon account creation
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StackNode ("Service"), operated by Niedermeyer Jannik, c/o POSTFLEX PFX-242-293, Emsdettener Straße 10, 48268 Greven, Germany. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
StackNode provides managed container hosting infrastructure including, but not limited to:
- Docker container deployment and management
- Persistent volume storage
- Static IPv4 address allocation
- Custom image building and registry
- Pay-as-you-go billing based on resource consumption
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at admin@stacknode.sh of any unauthorized use.
4. Billing & Payments
StackNode operates on a prepaid, pay-as-you-go model. You must maintain a positive account balance to run resources. Charges are calculated hourly based on actual usage of CPU, RAM, storage, and IP addresses. We accept payments in cryptocurrency (BTC, LTC, BCH, SOL). All payments are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. If your balance reaches zero, running containers may be suspended without notice.
5. Trial Credit
New accounts may receive a one-time trial credit of $0.10. This credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may be revoked at our discretion. Abuse of the trial program (e.g. creating multiple accounts) will result in immediate account termination.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use StackNode to:
- Host, distribute, or facilitate illegal content or activities
- Send spam or conduct phishing campaigns
- Launch denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
- Mine cryptocurrency without explicit written permission
- Violate the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks
- Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written consent
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
7. Resource Usage & Fair Use
You are responsible for all resource consumption under your account. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that negatively impact platform stability or other users, at our sole discretion.
8. Data & Privacy
We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Container data and volumes are your responsibility — we do not guarantee backups unless explicitly offered as a feature.
9. Uptime & Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime SLA for accounts on standard plans. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users via our Telegram channel in advance of planned downtime.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting admin@stacknode.sh. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted within 30 days. Remaining balance is non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StackNode and Niedermeyer Jannik shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the Telegram channel or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.
